Project Description: Improving

The ground floor of this home was jaded and required significant renovating throughout. To begin with we carefully planned to refine room layouts and configuration - creating better use of space and flow. We removed the structural wall between the kitchen and the dining room. We introduced a large velux window in the kitchen roof to enhance natural light. Placelift gave the existing kitchen a new lease of life with a new quart worktop, tiled splashback along with new sink, tap and handles. We incorporated a new island with seating and we also re-configured the existing kitchen layout to create much need additional storage. We devised a soft neutral cohesive colour scheme throughout and introduced functional and aesthetic modern light fittings. A large bespoke bookshelf unit with a cosy reading nook in the dining space and a bespoke media unit in the snug completed these spaces.
